Stiegelmeyer Africa (Pty) Ltd is a fellow subsidiary and has been conceived in South Africa to introduce and offer the latest specifications and standards in terms of patient handling and mobilisation in the hospital and care bed sector for the whole of sub-Sahara Africa. It simultaneously strives to uplift the industry and its role players on global trends and best practice principles.

Stiegelmeyer Africa is celebrating it’s 10-year anniversary in 2022.

This subsidiary focusses on the local African market with its unique operating landscape by offering quality hospital furniture of all sophistication levels, in both manual and electric format. Business is always conducted in a responsible and accountable manner with a factory-trained and highly experien ced staff contingent. Parallel and of equal importance is the after sales service and technical support module, which complements the Stiegelmeyer product ranges with its lowest cost of ownership status.

During its past 10 years of operation, Stiegelmeyer Africa has sold more than 16,000 beds. Apart from its growing footprint in South Africa, the company has already completed several successful projects in sub-Saharan Africa, including Gabon, DRC, Nigeria, Zimbabwe, Namibia, Botswana, Mauritius, Seychelles and Kenya.
