Relocation of Stiegelmeyer Pflegemoebel GmbH & Co. KG

The Stiegelmeyer-Group concentrates its resources and brings the two business divisions for hospital and care furniture together in one location. Therefore, the 30 members from the sales team of Stiegelmeyer Pflegemoebel GmbH & Co. KG have moved from Lage to Herford and, like the Clinic division, now work at Ackerstraße 42.

Stiegelmeyer wins the prestigious 2015 Interior Innovation Award

The comfort bed Suite eMotion was awarded the 2015 Interior Innovation Award by the German Design Council at the imm cologne (International Furniture Show in Cologne). With this award, the bed will also be presented at the special exhibition on the Interior Innovation Award at the 2015 imm cologne. There, the second jury round will take place, in which 15 from all winning products will be awarded with the label Interior Innovation Award - Best of Best 2015.

New service and logistics centre

On the 31 October, Germany's leading manufacturer of hospital and care beds opened its new service and logistics centre at the facilities in Herford with a special kick-off event. All of the Herford staff was invited, along with some of the construction companies and craftspersons involved in the construction.

Supporting mobility with the Vertica clinic

As a result of the recently developed experts’ standard on maintaining and promoting mobility ("Erhaltung und Förderung der Mobilität”), the subject of mobility support during day-to-day care will become even more important in the future.
With the Vertica hospital bed, the person in need of care can be mobilised easily and without undue physical effort or additional personnel. The special design of the bed allows the patient to be raised easily into a sitting position. This means, for example, that the patient can eat meals in the customary way, seated comfortably at the provided table. Thus, the patient can start to take part in everyday life much sooner.

The new Puro hospital bed is more than just a bed

This hospital bed was developed in cooperation with customers and care experts. The main focus here was on reducing the workload of care personnel by allowing the bed to facilitate various care tasks. With its functional design, the Puro is also a reliable universal bed for use on any type of ward. Such a wide range of important features and characteristics of modern hospital beds can be found only in the Puro.

e-help – digital assistance systems for in-patient and home care

The main component of a care worker’s job is no longer just care work alone. Nowadays, the planning and recording of work, ordering of meals and similar tasks are just as much a part of the job and add a significant burden due to the amount of time that they take up.

Under the designation “e-help”, Stiegelmeyer has developed digital assistance systems that ensure high-quality care and reduce the burden on care staff.
